The Tale of The Red Rose

A young boy in his seventeen who is currently smitten in love, sitting in the grass in his garden. A moment later, he began to sobs, and then crying louder and louder, regretting his destiny.

"I'm in love with the girl, but she won't accept my love if I don't present her with the red rose. Unfortunately I have no any red rose in my garden," cried he.

A bird with the golden fur and blue eyes watches the young boy from the top of the tree with a piteous look. He's a grown up bird with name Jung Yonghwa. He has experienced various tastes of of life, from its bitter to its sweet, from its happiness to its gloom, but never once he experiences a heart broken because of love.

"She won't take me to the prom night, she will let me dance alone if I don't give her a red rose," a young boy cried louder.

"What's wrong with him?" asked the frog who passed by.

"He's broken heart,"answered Yonghwa.

"Why is he broken heart?" asked the grass who couldn't understand human language.

"The girl that he loves want a red rose, but he doesn't have any," answered Yonghwa.

The young boy continues crying even the sky had shown its gloomy face. And the water starts to drop to the earth. The young boy just keeps crying his heart out, imagining the rejection that he could receive from the girl.

The wise bird Yonghwa can't take it anymore. His soft heart insists him to help the young crying boy. So once the rain stopped, he starts to fly, asking from one flower to another flower to know the rose whereabouts. Until finally he found a plant which called rose.

"My dear friend, please kindly give me a red rose!" Yonghwa said.

"I'm so sorry my dear handsome fellow, but mine is not red rose. Mine is the white rose which is as clear as porcelain and whiter than dandelions," said the rose. Yonghwa began to get gloomy.

"Don't worry, my friend. I have sister which grows in the corner of the yard. She probably could help you," said the white rose.

"Really, would she gladly help me?" asked Yonghwa.

"Just tell her the greeting from Taeyeon, then she will surely help you," said the yellow rose. Yonghwa gladly nodded then fly towards the yard.

"Hello beautiful rose, I send a greeting from your sister Taeyeon. Will you kindly give me a red rose?" spoke Yonghwa.

"Thank you for sending a greeting from my sister, but pardon me my fellow, I don't have a red rose. Mine is the violet rose which more beautiful than the rainbow and as pretty as the twilight," said the violet rose. Yonghwa turned to be all gloomy as he couldn't find the red rose.

"Oh please don't be sad, my handsome fellow, you can come to our youngest sister which grow in the pathways. Just say the greeting from Tiffany and she will surely help you," said she. Yonghwa spread his wings and fly towards the pointed direction.

Yonghwa finally found the youngest sister of the rose. But the scene that he saw makes him feel pity. The rose is dying and the branches had scattered.

"Hello my fellow, I send a greeting from your sister, Tiffany," Yonghwa greet reluctantly. How could he ask her help when she's in that pitiful condition.

"Really, Tiffany unnie send her greeting to me? I miss her so bad," said the rose in a happy tone. Surprisingly, despite of her weak body, she still could show a happy expression after hearing her sister's name. Yonghwa just nodded lightly.

"Then what can I do to pay your kindness for delivering my sister's greeting to me?" asked the rose.

"I just asked a red rose. One is enough for me," said Yonghwa.

"Mine is red rose. It's redder than the blood and more beautiful than any kind of rose. But young man, unfortunately I can't help you," said the rose.

"You're a red rose, why can't you help me?" asked Yonghwa.

"The winter has chilled my veins, the frost has nipped my buds, and the storm has broken my branches. I shall not grow any flower at all this year," said the rose.

"Is there any way for me to get a red rose?" asked Yonghwa frustratingly.

"There is only one way, young man..."

"Yonghwa. Just call me Yonghwa"

"Alright Yonghwa. There is only one way to make a red rose, but I'm afraid that it could cost your life," said the rose.

Yonghwa contemplated for a while. Is it worthy to sacrifice his life to make a red rose for the young boy. He likes to sing every morning, he likes to fly around and play with the dandelions and the long grass. He likes to see the sun arise from the dawn. He's still hasn't got enough to see the beauty of the world.

"What should I do actually, agassi? Why has it cost my life?" Yonghwa asked. At least he got a reason of his dead.

"Just call me Seohyun. You see, Yonghwa! My body is weak so does my veins, I'm also frustrated by seeing my condition. That's why I couldn't grow my rose," Seohyun explained. Yonghwa touched after hearing Seohyun's condition. She's dying and barely living.

Now Yonghwa found a good reason to sacrifice himself. Not for a young boy who is on the verge of a broken heart, not for a damn red rose for the girl. But it's for Seohyun. For the dying Seohyun. He's seen her two sisters before, and they both are really beautiful roses. Earlier Seohyun said that she was the most beautiful roses among her sisters, but unfortunately she can't reveal her beauty as she's now dying. This. This is his reason to sacrifice himself. He wants to see Seohyun grew beautifully as she used to be.

"Tell me! Tell me what should I do to make you get healthy again?" Yonghwa asked.

"You wanna a red rose so badly, huh? You should sing a beautiful song to me under the moonlight, then press your chest against my thorn until it grace your heart. Then your veins will be mine. Are you sure you wanna do that?" Seohyun asked. Yonghwa just nodded and smiling. A smile that could steal Seohyun's heart away. A smile that could melt her cold heart. A smile that you will never bored when you see it. A smile that you would miss once it disappears. No, Seohyun couldn't let this happen. Seohyun doesn't want to lose Yonghwa, ever.

"Why? Why do you want it so badly even when you know that it could cost your life? What will you do with the red rose?" Seohyun asked.

"Now I don't care with the red rose anymore. I just want you to be alive healthy and grow a beautiful flower like you used to be," answered Yonghwa. Seohyun speechless. She never expects anyone would sacrifice his life for her, not even her sisters who already knew about her pathetic condition.

The night has finally come. The full moon has set up above in the sky. Seohyun's tears flow as she waits for her prince to come. They just barely met each other for a while, but they couldn't deny the growing feeling between them is something that known as love. Love. Yes, they love each other. And just right when they realize about those feelings, they should ready to lose each other.

Yonghwa come again after a while. He had bid goodbye to all of his friends and all the plants in the garden, also the oak tree, the place he used to stay. All of them teared up when Yonghwa said that he won't ever coming back. Yonghwa's been a good and caring friend. He also has a beautiful voice which could bring the joy to all of them. He always gladly helps them when they're in need without even hesitating.

"Hello Seohyun, I'm all ready now," Yonghwa said with smiling.

"Please don't. I don't want to see you...."

Before Seohyun could continue her sentence, Yonghwa starts to sing a beautiful melody. A beautiful melody which could attract the attention from all creatures which hear it. His golden furs shimmered prettily under the moonlight. Seohyun couldn't hide her admirations toward the creature before her. She could feel that her frustrations slowly lifted. Her gloomy feeling changed into a joyous gut. She feels refreshed.

Not so long after, Yonghwa positioning himself at Seohyun's longest and sharpest thorn. Before Seohyun could prevent him to move forward, Yonghwa has pushed himself towards the thorn. The thorn has finally stabbed Yonghwa's chest and the blood slowly dripping from it. A beautiful melody turned into a painful scream which could make everything which hear it crying. Seohyun feel her body slowly got stronger. She's more lovely than before. She then realizes that an inch more, her torn would grace Yonghwa's heart.

"No, Yonghwa! Please don't! Don't move any further!" Seohyun scream as she feels Yonghwa's heart. His handsome face turned paler and paler. While Seohyun getting more and more energized.

Yonghwa let out a loud moan when his heart fully stabbed by the thorn. The buds of the red rose starts to grow from Seohyun's body. Seohyun grow into a beautiful plant with the strong branches and veins. Yonghwa has replaced her veins with his.

"Please don't continue this Yonghwa! I'm all well now. I love you so much Yonghwa, I don't want to lose you," Seohyun cried as she sees the man that she loved dying on her very own thorn.

"I love you too, Seohyun! I love you more! Among all the experiences that I have, meeting you is the most beautiful miracle that I ever have," Yonghwa said weakly.

Seohyun, getting stronger she is, trying to embrace Yonghwa with her branches. But as her branches are full of thorns, she can't hold him tightly. She's afraid that it could hurt Yonghwa more.

"I love you Seohyun! I love you with all of my heart and my life," Yonghwa said weakly as his life is slowly leaving his body. Rain makes its appearance once Yonghwa's body touch the ground. Seohyun crying badly after seeing the one she loved has died. The nature starts to hum a painful melody as they witness a tragic scene. Seohyun, the beautiful red rose, lose her first and last love on her own thorn.

The next day, the young boy walks toward the pathways with the sad face. But his sad face turned into a wide smile after seeing the red flowers grew from Seohyun's body. The boy takes all the red roses mercilessly, without even saving some mercy for her.

"Yeah. I got the red roses already. It means that she would agree to be my girlfriend, then she would be my partner for the prom night," said the young boy happily.

"Is that Yonghwa, is that the boy that you want to help so badly? He who doesn't even look your body even though you are lying next to me? He who picks all of my flowers mercilessly  without thinking that I could've died because of his action?" Seohyun sobbed painfully. Seohyun keep sobbing until the red fluids drip from her body.

Meanwhile, in the other side of the world, the young boy arrives at the house which belongs to the girl that he loved. With a bucket of the red roses, he walks confidently towards the girl that sitting in the balcony. The girl welcome him with a big smile when she sees the red roses on his hands.

"Wah, it's so pretty! Where did you find those pretty roses?" said the girl cheerfully. The boy grinned as he finally gets a chance to earn her heart.

"I just found it on my way here. Do you like it?" asked the boy.

"Yeah, I like it so much. I used to take the red rose in the pathway, but as it attacked by the storm, the plant began to wither. Glad that you find the substitute," said the girl. The boy thinks back, he also found the red roses in the pathways. Is it the same roses as the girl means? he wonders.

"So do you agree to be my prom?" asked the boy.

"Only if you could bring me the bucket of red roses again," said the girl. The boy smile, he surely able to present the red roses to the girl as he sure that the plant is firmly live on the pathways.

Before the prom night, the boy walks again toward the pathways to takes the red roses again. But the view there makes him cry painfully. The blooming red roses have now disappeared. The sturdy plant now has bent down with the red fluids keep flowing from its body. As he walks closer, he sees that the plant looks like trying to cover the lifeless bird with the thorn on its chest. The red fluid from the rose blended together with the blood from the bird. He just remembers that it was the bird that always singing every morning in his garden. He just realizes that in this past few days he hasn't heard the chirping bird from his window. So here it is, died in the arm of the red rose.

"Oh my God, I just killed a couple. They should have loved each other. My selfishness kill them. Oh my God!" cried the boy.

The sight in front of him makes him completely forget about the girl's request to bring a bucket of the red roses. He now determined to find a girl who is willingly loves him back, without asking any compensation. He takes the mental note from beautiful love tragedy between the bird and the red roses.

The nature has spread the news to all over the world. The story about the red rose which is dead while bent down into her beloved bird. The bird who sacrificed his life for the sake of the rose. Taeyeon and Tiffany, the red rose's sisters, start to cry heavily after knowing the tragic story of their youngest. Unknown to them, the red rose and the bird are having a sweet rendezvous in heaven.  God needs the singer to enliven the heaven and need the red rose to decorate it. Every morning, the bird singing beautifully and flew near the rose. Both of them look so happy. So at last, they are getting on together again, in heaven.

A Mighty Love - Chapter 8

Chapter 8 - Prince Changmin

It's been three days since the Mozart Concert incident which cause Jihyo turns so upset. But now Jihyo and Hyunnie has gotten along well as Hyunnie reflects a lot and she starts to learn about the manner and etiquette again.

They are in the middle of breakfast when a maid informs them that the palace guard came and search for Hyunnie. Three of them look into each other and wondering why the palace guard come to the mansion. Is it has something to do with a small incident which happen in the concert? With that kind of thinking, Jihyo asks Gary to hide Hyunnie, and she will try to talk to the palace guard.

"The invitation to have an afternoon tea with Prince Changmin," Jihyo said after the palace guard hand her the invitation letter which wrote for Lady Seo Joohyun.

"Thank goodness, it's not a punishment!" Gary said after the palace guard disappeared from their sight.

"Prince Changmin inviting Hyunnie for an afternoon tea, but why Hyunnie? How is it, Oppa? Should we allow her?" Jihyo asks for Gary's opinion.

"Hmm.. Well, I couldn't trust Prince Changmin actually. But it's just an afternoon tea, right? Then she will be going home after that. So I think it's alright," Gary decided.

Hyunnie jumped in joy as finally she gets to enter the palace. Jihyo dress her up prettily so that she looks like a gorgeous lady. Indeed, she's a daughter of a noble.

Hyunnie couldn't hide her admiration once she stepped her feet at the palace of Britannia kingdom. It's really really big. Even her mansion was quite big, but palace's size is no joke. The exterior looks so beautiful and the interior looks so elegant. She just kept her mouth hanging open as she walks further into the palace.

"Welcome to the palace, Lady Seo Joohyun," she hears the voice come from behind, and she sees an elegant man whom known as Prince Changmin.

"It's a great honor for me to be invited, your Majesty!" Hyunnie said and bowing to the prince.

"Wow, your appearance was quite different from several days ago. You look stunning," the prince said and makes Hyunnie's heart thumping fast.

"Now, let's go to my room where we can talk comfortably," Changmin said as he held her hand affectionately.

As they climb the stair happily, Yong unintentionally watch them from afar, then he rushed to hide so that Hyunnie won't discover him. He wonders why Hyunnie is in the palace and why she was talking with Changmin. He watches them from afar, then when Changmin invite her to come to her room, he rushes into the opposite room. As Changmin's room is made from the glass, he can watch their activity from the opposite room.

Changmin pour a tea into Hyunnie's cup and treat her nicely.

"Prince Changmin, I just realize that actually you're really nice and kind, just like my Yong," Hyunnie squeal.

"Yong? Who is he?" Changmin asked. This is the first time for him to meet a girl who talks about another man in front of him.

"He's a very important for me. He always protects me no matter what. And we are always playing hide and seek together," Hyunnie blushes when she describe her beloved Yong.

"Is that so? Can you give me a description about him? You seem so fond of him," Changmin pout in annoyance.

"Uhm, he has a villa at the top of the hill, we've been staying there before. Then, because he likes unrestricted life, we matched well, since I also like freedom," Hyunnie explained.

'Villa on the top of the hill? That's the house the royal family uses when we're hunting, so it means that he was the part of the royal family. And, the one and only son of the king who likes unrestricted life is only the brat Jung Yonghwa,' Changmin thought.

Hyunnie is talking about Yong happily, whereas Yong in the opposite side watch her with a hurt expression. Hyunnie looks so happy when she talks with Changmin. He remembers that she ever told him that she wants to marry the prince, so here she is, making an approaching the prince. He began to regret why didn't he introduce himself as the crown prince. He thought that Hyunnie probably will be reluctant if she sees him as a prince. Also, he doesn't want to bring her to the palace unless she has become the well-mannered lady. He just doesn't want her to become the laughing stock again. Besides, she first saw him as Yong, a common boy, not as Jung Yonghwa, the crown prince of Britannia.

Back to where Hyunnie and Changmin, he suddenly smirks after guessing who is Yong. So this is the girl who meant so much to Yonghwa until he getting more often run away from the palace. As this girl is important for Yonghwa, he thought that it will be the nice idea if he could snatch the girl away from Yonghwa. He began to pinned Hyunnie to the wall in case that innocent girl would run away after seeing his next movement. Hyunnie tried hard to get free from his grip, but he's just too strong. Fortunately not so long after, a lady come inside and tweaking Changmin's ear.

"Omonim," Changmin shocked when seeing Lady Jung Minah has came into his room.

"Changmin, what did you do? This is not the time to play around with that girl. Don't you want to be a king? So now, hurry, go visit his highness! Arrive before Jung Yonghwa came!" Minah ushering her son to go.

Changmin rushes into King Kyungho's room, so that another royal family member. With wondering what's going on, Hyunnie follow him to come to a specific room in the palace.

"Miss, sorry, only the royal family members who are allowed to enter. So please, step away!" Butler Lee Joon, the Jung's special butler said to Hyunnie.

"Where is Jung Yonghwa hwangtaeja?" Butler Lee asked with an anxious expression to one of the maids, right after he ushering Hyunnie to go away.

"He's not here,Sir!" the maid said.

"Oh my God, even though his father is sick, he's still causing a trouble," Butler Lee face palming.

Actually Yonghwa has arrived to the place, but he spotted that Hyunnie was still there. He can't come over or else he will identified by her. He keeps thinking a way to get into the room without caught by Hyunnie.

"Your highness, we are so worried about you," said Princess Minah.

"Don't worry, I'm just catching a cold," King Kyungho said.

"By the way, where is hwangtaeja? What takes him so long to come here?" Changmin asked with a poker face.

"Right, Changmin always arrived first in any event, while Yonghwa is always disappear," King Kyungho feels sad with the fact.

"I'm sorry your highness, it's because I spoiled him too much," Queen Sooyoung said apologetically.

"Your highness, it's not good if the future king is so carefree," Princess Minah said, as if throwing the oil into the fire.

"But he's intelligent and generous. A king should have that character too," the queen said to defend her son.

"What are you ladies talking about? I'm just catching a cold, it's not that I'm gonna die anytime soon," the king said as he worried if the ladies continue their debate about the next throne. Kyungho know that Jung Minah, his half blood sister, also aim the throne for her son.

"Right, his highness only catches a cold. He just needs to drink this medicine three times a day. Then he'll be healthy again," the doctor said and giving the medicine to the queen.

Princess Minah looks at the medicine with a smirk. She currently cooks some evil plan on her head. She then nudges Changmin to excuse themselves to exit from the room.

Outside King Kyungho's room, Hyunnie wait anxiously for the result. Yonghwa getting more difficult to enter into the room as Hyunnie keep pacing back and forth.

"Lady Seo Joohyun," Hyunnie turns her head to the source of the voice. A very beautiful girl calling her. But she doesn't recognize her.

"I heard that you're good at playing piano. Could you please play a relaxing music for his Highness?" the beautiful girl request. Hyunnie just follow the girl when she shows her the piano.

As usual, Hyunnie play Traumerei song, her favorite. Seeing that Hyunnie playing the piano passionately, the beautiful girl steps out and walk towards the king's room. In front of the room, that girl opens her clothes to reveal Yonghwa who disguise as a girl.

"Hwangtaeja, what kind of joke is this? Why are you wearing a girl's dress?" Butler Lee asks when he caught his prince's weird action. Yonghwa just directly covers butler Park's mouth and tell him to return the girl's clothes.

"I'm very sorry, Aboji. I'm arriving late," Yonghwa said to King Kyungho. King Kyungho showed an annoyed expression but still manage to smile at him.

"What's that thing that you put on your ear? Isn't that an earring?" King Kyungho asks.

"Ah, uhm. It's a piercing, Aboji. It's a trend nowadays," Yonghwa said innocently which earns a glare from his mom.

"Ah, it's a tone of the piano. The melody is really nice," Queen Sooyong said, completely forgot to scold Yonghwa because of his piercing.

"Yeah. Lady Seo Joohyun play it for Aboji," Yonghwa said, feel funny about the incident a while ago.

"Lady Seo Joohyun? Who is she?" Queen Sooyoung asked.

"Lady Seo Joohyun is Seo Taiji's granddaughter," Yonghwa explained.

"Seo Taiji's granddaughter? No wonder she played the piano beautifully," Queen Sooyoung said as she hushing Yonghwa and tell him to let King Kyungho to take a rest.

Hyunnie is playing the last tune when she feels someone approach her and clasp her hand elegantly.

"Pardon, may I know who you are?" Hyunnie asked.

"I'm Sooyoung. Let me see you, I wanna know how is Seo Taijis granddaughter looks like," the queen said.

"Oh, your Highness. Let me introduce myself, I'm Joohyun from the house of Seo," Hyunnie said politely.

"Omo, you're so resemble with Kwon Yuri," the queen said after take a glance to Hyunnie's face.

"Your highness, do you know my mom?" Hyunnie asked.

"Of course I know. We're just like a best friend when we're younger. I know exactly her love story with Seo Im Woo and how angry Master Seo Taiji when they decide to live in Yuri's original country in Alexandria," Queen Sooyoung narrated.

Hyunnie then take a glance at the clock and realize that the day has turned into the night. She bids goodbye to the queen and thinking to find Prince Changmin to bid goodbye as he was the one who invite her to the palace.

She spots him in the backyard, seems like talking to someone, but she's unsure what is he talking about and to whom.

"Yeah, we exchange the king's medicine with the....."

"Prince Changmin!" Hyunnie call and approach him.

Princess Minah come out from behind Changmin and tell him to do something to Hyunnie. She afraid if Hyunnie overheard their conversation. Following his mother's request, Changmin smack Hyunnie's back which cause her knocked out in an instant.

"Lock her in the west tower!"

Kang Gary and Jihyo has legally tied knot and are allowed to live under the same roof. They live together with Hyunnie in Seo mansion. They're enjoying their sweet and hot time together when Hyunnie knocked their honeymoon room door. Both of them sighed in frustrated and wondering what's so urgent until Hyunnie can't wait until tomorrow.

"What's up, little lady?" Gary asked Hyunnie who fidgeting in front of the door frame.

"Did I disturb you two? I can't sleep because I keep thinking about Yong," Hyunnie's confession makes the newlywed couple exchange glances.

"Hyunnie, tomorrow I will teach you about the manner that's needed to be a great lady. If you become a great lady, then any man will surely fall for you," Jihyo said lovingly, tried to understand that the younger was probably falling in love. And after getting an assurance from Jihyo, Hyunnie start to proceed her way to get back to her room.

Jihyo and Gary lose their mood to do what the honeymoon couple should do. They start to worry about Hyunnie who start to fall in love to Yong. It's not because they detest Yong. Yong has become the part of their family too, but Yong's identity is still a quite mystery to them and they don't want anything bad happen to Hyunnie. Hyunnie just recover from her trauma and bad experience could make her trauma relapse.

In the next day, Jihyo starts her manners lesson towards Hyunnie. Jihyo starts by teaching her to walk gracefully with the thick books up on her head, then continue into table manner, then playing a grand piano. Hyunnie really serious when learning every lesson from Jihyo. This is the first time for Jihyo, Gary, and the maids to see their milady become so serious. Hyunnie must be really want to be a great lady. And surprisingly, Hyunnie learn the piano really fast. Jihyo only teach her the basic tone, but Hyunnie has mastered it and even able to play Traumerei song without Jihyo teaching her. It proves that Hyunnie was truly Seo Taiji's granddaughter and Seo Im Woo's daughter, the great maestro of Britannia. Seo Im Woo first met with Kwon Yuri when he play the piano for her ballet performance.

"She's inherited her father and grandfather's talent," Gary said to Jihyo when he looks at Hyunnie's recital.

"You're right. What do you think about taking her to a musical concert? This could be a good experience and we can test her etiquette and manners that i've taught her," Jihyo suggests.

"Huh?" that's all what can Gary said when he hears the suggestion from his wife.

"I heard that there will be the Mozart Concert in the palace theater, and the royal family will be attending as well, isn't that a good opportunity?" Jihyo said which earn a nod from Gary. It's not that Gary has another choice than just agree.

The concert day has finally come. Gary, Jihyo, and Hyunnie have dressed up nicely for the concert will be attended by many nobles. As they arrived at the Palace Theater, they saw so many ladies attended the concert. They heard that the crown prince will attend the concert, that is why they are dressed up beautifully, to captivated the crown prince's heart. They also saw Victoria and her parents attending the concert. Once their eyes meet with Song Jaeho meet, he saw a deep hatred towards them. Then he starts to spread the rumor about Hyunnie, Seo Joohyun who became Seo Taiji's heiress.

"A noble do not do gossiping, Hyunnie. Just ignore them," Jihyo said to Hyunnie who feel anxious because of the spreading rumor about her.

"Attention! The royal family has arrived. Please kindly stand up!" the voice of the master of ceremony heard.

Hyunnie search for their face curiously. This is the first time for her to attend the palace event, so this is the first time for her to get to see the royal family. Besides, she curious about the crown prince who become the trending topic among the ladies. She just curious how handsome and gorgeous he is, is he more handsome than Yong, and so on.

"That one is His Majesty, Jung Kyungho, the king of Britannia, the lady beside him is Queen Sooyoung, behind them is Prince Shim Changmin, their nephew and the crown prince's cousin, and the woman beside him is Jung Minah, his mother," Jihyo explained to Hyunnie.

"Then, where is the crown prince, unnie?" Hyunnie asked.

"Thank you for attending this concert, everyone! Unfortunately, in this wonderful night, Jung Yonghwa hwangtaeja could not attend as he wasn't feeling well. In his place are Lady Minhool and Prince Changmin," King Kyungho speeches as if he heard Hyunnie's question about the crown prince. Changmin directly moving towards the spotlight as his name mentioned. It earns a lot of squeal and clasp from the guests, especially the ladies.

"Ah, hwangtaeja wasn't feeling well lately. It seems that he easily got sick," Victoria said to her mom.

"What a useless crown prince. You better avert your attention to Prince Changmin. He's quite dashing and gorgeous," her mom said.

Several minutes later, the Mozart Concert start. Symphony #40 in G Minor played beautifully and add the energetic ambience in the theater. Hyunnie amazed with the beautiful melody and curious about how to play it. She stands up, wishing that she could watch closely as her seat is quite far away from the stage. Some people are annoyed because Hyunnie blocked their vision of the stage. Gary then asked Hyunnie to sit down and enjoy the performance in quiet. But not do long after, she clasps her hands loudly as she proud of the composer. It earns badmouth from other people around her and become a laugh stock for them. As for them, Hyunnie's action is really unmannered and not presenting a noble attitude. Then Jihyo and Gary bowing apologize to the people due to the incovenience which caused by Hyunnie.

Unknown from them, their small ruckus gained attention from the prince who sits in the upstairs. At first he feels disgusted and annoyed, but then he smirks and thinks that the shameless lady over there was quite interesting.

"Butler Park, who's that girl?" the prince ask to his personal butler who stands next to him.

"That girl is Seo Joohyun, Seo Taiji long lost granddaughter who is now the owner of Seo mansion," Butler Park Yoochun spoke. The prince just looking at her intently until the concert had over.

Yong awoken from his sleep when one of the Seo's maid report that Gary, Jihyo, and Hyunnie had arrived at the mansion. Yong intentionally leaves the palace to avoid attending the concert which looks boring for him and rushes to Seo mansion and meet Hyunnie. Instead the girl that he wants to meet just depart to the Palace Theater to attend the concert. What a bad timing, he thought. But still, he's willing to patiently wait for them to come back. He pretends to be sick when King Kyungho, his father, asks him to attend the concert. The king just believes it since he knows that last week Yong just recover from a high fever. But here he is, staying in Seo mansion's living room, in healthy condition.

"Ah, I'm really ashame. The image of people keeps bad mouthing and make Hyunnie become a laughing stock keep ringing in my head," Jihyo said annoyedly. She feels upset upon the small incident that happen at the concert earlier.

"I'm sorry, unnie! I behaved badly even though you have taught me everything," Hyunnie said apologetically.

"Why? What's wrong with the concert, noona?" Yong asked to Jihyo who seem so upset when arriving from the concert.

"Hyunnie become wild again, and Jihyo so frustrated as she has taught her all about manners and etiquette," Gary spoke as he patted Jihyo's back. Yong can't hold his laughter after listen to Gary's explanation. He imagines how shock Changmin's face when seeing Hyunnie's attitude in the concert of his favorite maestro. Now he really wishes that he could attend the concert.

"What's so funny about it, Yong? Don't you know that I'm so distressed to see Hyunnie become the laughing stock over there," Jihyo continue her sobbing.

Gary helps Jihyo to stand up and drag her to their room. Somehow Gary feels that Jihyo become so emotional lately, also she starts to be so upset over a little thing. He feels that he was the only one who can calm her so there he is, hugging the crying Jihyo in their bedroom. Meanwhile, Yong was dragging another crying woman to her room. So there he is, calming Hyunnie who cried hard because she feels so guilty towards Jihyo.

"Am I really Seo Taiji's granddaughter, Yong? Am I really having a noble blood? Why can't I act like a noble lady?" Hyunnie said as she sobs in Yong's embrace.

"Hyun, why are you so determined to be a lady?" Yong asked as he realize that this girl on his embrace keep bugging about to be a lady.

"Cause I don't want to be an unmannered girl in front of Yong," she answered with a hiccup.

"Is that so? Honestly, for me, Hyun is not an unmannered girl, but you have an unrestricted soul. Freedom is important. Living a strict and controlled life is not enjoyable. I think both of us have a free soul, and our characters are really match, aren't it?" Yong winked.

After Hyunnie getting calmer, Yong bidding goodbye and mouthing good night to Hyunnie. Hyunnie feels so touched with Yong's affection.

"Good night, my prince!" Hyunnie said in a low voice as she watches Yong's back walk further in the darkness.
